Sevgi Soysal’ın yaşamı ve edebi mirası, sahnede yeniden hayat buluyor! BGST Tiyatro tarafından sahnelenen "Sevgi Soysal Yaşamakta Israr Ediyor", edebiyatın ve yaşamın iç içe geçtiği, dönemin ruhunu ve mücadelelerini sahneye taşıyan etkileyici bir oyun.
Sevgi Soysal, kırkıncı yaşına Londra’da, ülkesinden uzakta girer. Kanserle mücadele ederken, onu uyutmayan tek şey hastalığı değildir. Geçmişi, yazdığı karakterler ve yaşadığı ülkenin dönüşümü, gecelerine eşlik etmeye devam eder. Oyun, Soysal’ın kendi yaşamı ve Cumhuriyet’in 25. yılından 50. yılına uzanan toplumsal dönüşümün kesiştiği bir hikâyeyi anlatıyor. Aşk, dostluk, direniş, umut ve inat… Soysal’ın kaleminden süzülen tüm duygular, sahnede yankılanıyor.
Yazar Duygu Dalyanoğlu ve yönetmen Aysel Yıldırım tarafından sahneye taşınan oyun, güçlü oyunculukları ve görsel anlatımıyla izleyicileri derin bir yolculuğa çıkarıyor.

Performed by BGST Theatre, Sevgi Soysal Yaşamakta Israr Ediyor (Sevgi Soysal Insists on Living) is a powerful play that intertwines literature and life, bringing the spirit and struggles of an era to the stage.
Sevgi Soysal enters her fortieth year in London, far from her homeland. As she battles cancer, it is not only her illness that keeps her awake at night. Her past, the characters she has written, and the transformation of the country she left behind continue to accompany her restless nights. The play tells the story of Soysal’s own life, intertwined with the social changes in Turkey from the 25th to the 50th anniversary of the Republic. Love, friendship, resistance, hope, and defiance—all the emotions that flow from Soysal’s pen find their echoes on stage.
Written by Duygu Dalyanoğlu and directed by Aysel Yıldırım, the play takes the audience on a profound journey with its compelling performances and striking visual storytelling.
